What Do You Like (and Don't Like) About Your Age?

Share how you feel about your age and what you expect your next age will be like.

Everyone has a slightly different perspective on what it means to be 6, or 16, or 60. There are bound to be some things you particularly like about your age that others don't, advantages you'd like to take with you to the next stage of development — and disadvantages you'll be glad to leave behind.

That is why you are invited to send Support4Change your answers to the following questions:

bulletWhat do you like most about your age?

bulletWhat do you like least about your age?

bulletWhat do you do to lessen the difficulties associated with your age?

bulletWhat are your concerns for your next stage of life?

bulletWhat books are you currently reading? [You don't have to answer this one, because it's not necessary to understand how you experience the age you are, but it's an interesting piece of information]

Send your answers to ages@support4change.com and, if you like, you can give a title to your answers. In the subject write: How I experience being ____ [your age]. You should receive an acknowledging that your email has been received within a few days of your submission. However, things can get hectic in the office and if you don't hear from me within a week or so, please send another email. Things do fall through the cracks.

NOTE: Add us to Your Address Book and Safe Lists. To ensure that my e-mails to you are not blocked by a filter, please add our "From" e-mail address (ages@support4change.com) to your address book or safe list.

Incidentally, if you don't want me to include your name, please say so and I'll publish it anonymously.

If you have children, you might ask them what they think is good and bad about their age.

I'll publish your replies so others who come to see the article on Erik Erikson (one of the most popular pages on this site) may learn how different people view the same age.

I begin by answering these questions with comments I call Looking Younger Takes Some of the Sting Out of Aches and Pains.
