In the late 1960's Kim Casali created a series of little pictures as love notes for her husband-to-be, Roberto. A man and woman, who would hold hands or sit on a porch swing, would illustrate the saying of the day. The public became aware of these when they became a long-running syndicated cartoon feature at many newspapers after they were syndicated in 1970. Though Kim and her husband have died, the cartoons continue and are drawn by Bill Asprey
