Introduction to Friends
Discover how old friends and new friends enrich our lives.
If you've ever gone to summer camp, you may have learned a song that is sung as a round: "Make new friends, but keep the old. One is silver and the other gold." The melody is so memorable that years later a piece of it can remind you of a long-ago campfire and the faces of new friends.
Truly our friends are the silver and gold in our lives. We need them not only for emotional support but for our very health, as research now affirms.
I hope the articles in the friends section on the navigation bar on the left will help you keep your old friends and open your heart to new ones.
