Getting Well and Staying Well

Health is Both Art and Science

Some days it seems as though we've been handed a birthday card that has "Greetings" on the outside — with an announcement on the inside that says, "We're sorry to inform you that the warranty on your body parts expires on your birthday this year."

Unfortunately, as we age our joints increasingly become less flexible, our back snaps when we make a sudden movement, our energy ain't what it used to be, and we generally feel as though we're on a fast track downhill.

What can you do when your body gets those inevitable aches and pains? And wouldn't it be nice if we could keep minor troubles minor?

On the other hand, if you have a chronic or serious illness, such as diabetes, cancer, multiple sclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis, muscular dystrophy, or Parkinson's Disease, you take back some of the control over life that is often lost when you have to deal with a serious illness.

Whether you have minor pains or major ones, the material in this section can help you more easily enhance your sense of physical, emotional, and mental well-being.
