Empowering Women to Be the Best They Can Be

Our goal for women is to give them tools to think for themselves and define themselves according to their own desires, not what others say their sex should or should not do or be.

You can find a zillion websites that aim to attract women by offering everything under the sun. Breast enlargement centers. Products guaranteed to make females more attractive to males of the species. Entertainment "just for women." Tips on how to catch a man. Female celebrities who "are fashionable," compared with those who "aren't." How to shop till you drop. And on and on and on.

We have created this part of Support4Change to suggest that being the best you can be doesn't necessarily mean being the best dressed, becoming president of your company, or having the slimmest figure at a high school reunion. Rather, our goal is to give both women (and men) tools they can use to think for themselves and to define themselves according to their own desires, rather than the pressure of the market place, what the current social climate requires, or what others say their sex should or should not do.

Hopefully Support4Change can play a role in helping women "realize and celebrate their inherent beauty, dignity and capacity for transformation," as the Real Women Project observes. As women use the material on this site, I believe they will gradually change negative images and artificial beliefs about beauty into greater physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual health.
