You may soon give up Freecell in favor of these addictive puzzles.
You can do them in a variety of shapes and sizes. The shapes come in what they call classic, zigzag, blocks, jigzone, birds, wavy, polygons, round, tri-dove, euros, USA, circles, tri-clip, crazy, sixstar, tetris, bulbs, stars, bricks, triangles, and squares. The basic size of each puzzle is about four inches wide and three inches tall. But the various shapes run everywhere from six to two-hundred-forty-seven pieces — which makes for some puzzles that should only be tackled by those with great talents for spatial relations or too much time on their hands.
Speaking of time, you can watch the seconds and minutes tick by to see how quickly you're working. Unfortunately, since you may want to work again before you finish but return to the puzzle later, it doesn't have a pause feature. But that's a small price to pay for a much needed break from writing. If you're planning to do a lot of surfing before going back to a puzzle, be sure to open a new window for the surfing and leave one window just devoted to the puzzle. Otherwise, you're likely to lose your almost-completed puzzle.
