Using the Internet for Creative Cards
This story of two brothers shows the pain of guilt—and the power of love and redemptive acts.
You may not have the time to create your own cards, as suggested in Cards That Cheer and Comfort and Creating GRAND Cards. So I am very glad to present a card you can safely send your friends. It is provided, with permission, by Katie's Cards, an artist who promotes her cards by saying, "Sending Katie's cards is an environmentally friendly way of keeping in touch with friends and relatives. NO resources needed to manufacture printed cards, NO fuel needed to buy or send printed cards by road or air." You can certainly reduce your carbon footprint by sending her e-cards.
For the holiday season of 2007, I suggest you share two of her cards with your family and friends. The first is The Thanksgiving Turkey. Very well done. The other is one of the loveliest Christmas peace cards you can give.
After you've seen the card, check out Katie's website. She has a number of lovely, creative cards you can send to as many people as you'd like for twelve months for only $9.90 US. You're sure to find another card there that you'll want to send someone.
Jacquie Lawson has a similar arrangement for her animated cards.
And I also like Off the Mark by Mark Parisi. His cards are not animated, but his hilarious cartoons are free.
Maybe watching some of the creative cards these artists design will inspire you to make time for creating some GRAND cards yourself. |
