Relief For Tired Feet
BY ARLENE HARDER, MA, MFT
Today's Take-a-Break
1. Point your toes to the ceiling and then to the ground.
2. Twist your ankles in circles clockwise and then counterclockwise.
3. Wiggle your toes and then bend them down.
4. Now, do it all again, this time with feeling.
5. If no one is around or, if they are and you're brave, sing "This little piggy went to market." |

This Take-a-Break suggestion gives you a little, although admittedly a very tiny bit, of exercise. So if you're in need of a very tiny bit of exercise, here goes! But first you'll need to take off your shoes in case you're wearing them when you read this.
Of course, if you've not given your feet a good workout lately, you may need to stop and work out cramps you caused by all this moving. But that only shows how much you needed this break (and the exercise).
