Memories Through the Years

Today's Take-a-Break
Pick a year between the time you were born and your 10th birthday and remember where you lived and recall one of your friends.
Then pick another year between the age of 10 and 20 and remember what you were probably doing on this date (a couple days before the Fourth). Were you probably buying fireworks or weren't you allowed to do that where you lived?
Now keep going with each decade of your life, noticing one thing that it would be fun for you to remember today. It could be the clothes you wore, the car you drove or a vacation you enjoyed.
Finally, take note of what you're doing today that you will want to remember ten years from now. |

This Take-a-Break suggestion can bring back some very pleasant memories, but I need to point out that you can't have memories unless you really EXPERIENCE life. Of course, while we do have a subconscious that can, under some circumstances, give us details we didn't remember at the time, the very best way to draw upon the past is to live our lives fully in the present.
